Shopping Victories this Week

I got a few great deals this week that I just have to share.  Two tips to highlight in these deals: 1. always be on the look out for coupons and 2. always check clearance/manager's specials.  My gym was passing out samples of the new Shout Color Catcher.  Naturally I took one.  I found a gem inside!  A $1 off Target coupon for any Shout product.  I paired that with a MQ to get great savings (no one was taking the samples at the gym.  So after 2 weeks I asked if I could have a few more!)  About point 2, managers specials become even even sweeter when paired with a coupon!  The Bob Evans sausage was only 50 cents!  I had a 50 cent MQ (from the Columbus Zoo, see point 1!) that made them free!  Here is the break down:

Target:
Shout- $2.24X4= 8.96
(4) $1 Target Shout (gym sample)
(2) $2/2 MQ Shout (insert)
Total= $.96 for all 4 or $0.24 each!

Fiscars- $1.79
Clearance price= $0.88 each

Marc's
Lysol (special double pack)- $2.15
$1 Lysol (insert)
Total= $1.19 or $0.58 each!

Bob Evans Natural Sausage- $0.50X2= $1

Total= both FREE

Total= $5.40 for 6 lbs of meat!
(I made 2 dozen meatballs and 1 dozen bacon cheeseburger hamburgers and froze it all)
