This morning I received an e-mail from Groupon offering me a $5 credit on my first purchase. Within the e-mail was a code specific to my account. I have purchased many times with Groupon, so I am not sure why I got this promotion. I did go to the site and enter it (find the “redeem a gift card” on right side bar). It worked! I have an e-mail in to Groupon to make sure this is legit (and they won’t turn around and make you repay the $5 if it is not your first order).
Has anyone else received one of these e-mail promotion codes? Did it work for you?

I got the same email, but it said they'd missed me and wanted me to have $5 off my first order coming back.

Got an email back from Groupon saying I am good to go to use the code! It expires on the 26tn I think. So looking for a great deal in the next few days!
