Daily Deal Expiration Reminder: Whole Foods, Old Navy, Office Max

I just logged on to Living Social the other day and realized my Whole Foods voucher expires soon! Recently there have been a bunch of really great offers, but many of them expire at the end of the year. Here are a few of the recent hot deals and their expiration dates:

Living Social: Whole Foods- 12/13/11
Living Social: OfficeMax- 12/31/11
Groupon: Old Navy- 12/31/11
Plum District: Abe’s Market- 12/30/11

If you do have a voucher that expires, many daily deal sites offer that the voucher/gift card will loose it’s promotional value but not it’s paid value. For instance with the Office Max deal, on Jan 1, 2026 that voucher will now be worth $10 (amount paid) instead of $20. Make sense?

But to avoid loosing the whole value of these great deals (because if you don’t use it, not only did you not save any money- but you lost it!) here is what I suggest. After you buy a deal, print a copy of the voucher, even if it is for an online merchant. I keep a folder with all my printed daily deal vouchers in it, ordered with the soonest expiration date first. What ways to you keep track of the daily deal overload? We would love to hear your techniques (and you might be rewarded for leaving a reply!)

Here are our fave Daily Deal sites. Seems like we add another each week. If you havn’t joined these we have also included whether or not they are currently offering a new account sign-up bonus. Always great to have credits to help bring the cost down even more!
