I am a big fan of programs/apps that reward you for the things you are doing anyway (Swagbucks for searching the net, MyCokeRewards for your purchases). That’s why a new iTunes app called Viggle caught my attention. I have used it a couple times and have to say, so far so good!
Go download Viggle to your Apple device (Andriod app coming soon too!)! Now you can start to earn points just for watching your favorite TV shows. These points can then be redeemed for rewards! Some of the rewards include FREE music downloads, Fandango movie tickets, gift cards to stores/restaurants like CVS, Target, Chili’s, Starbucks’, Best Buy, Old Navy, Burger King, Sephora, and lots more! I am aiming for the $5 Starbucks card for 7,500 points.
When you create your account, you will get 1,500 to start. Tap the check in button and Viggle will “listen” to see what show you are watching. This feature doesn’t work for me since I am using it on an iPad not a phone, so I just manually find my show with the search option. Some shows have higher point values than others. Also, once you check in you will be able to earn more points by viewing movie/TV show trailers, answering trivia questions and watching PSAs. I am a multitasker, so I love this app! Currently you can only earn points for watching Live TV, but a DVR content option is in the works! (Yeah! Since I hardly ever watch a live show anymore).
After just three nights of “watching” and earning, I am already up to 4,000 points! Try this app out for yourself, I think you will like it too. Be sure to let us know what you think!
