This week KMart is running a sale on this Nintendo Wii Red Console with Wii Sports and New Super Mario Brothers, $199.99. In addition you will earn 50,000 bonus points (until 11/13) for the Shop Your Way Reward program, on top of the regular 2,000 pts. This translates into $52 to use at KMart. So you can then use that to buy more games and accessories. The 2,000 points will show up at checkout and the bonus points will take up to 7 days to credit (just be sure to buy the red console for the bonus). My local store was out, so I decided to try online. I also shopped thru ShopAtHome for 5% cash back. And I hate to pay for shipping. So if you don’t want to pay for the $8.20 shipping, sign up for a 30 day trial membership of ShipVantage. This will get you free shipping (or 99 cent expedited shipping). Be sure to cancel this trial at the 25 day mark so as not to be charges the $79 fee!
Here is what my deal will look like:
ShopAtHome 5% rebate- $9.99, new members will get an extra $5 sign-up bonus
Shop Your Way Promo- 52,000 pts = $52
Final= $151.49 for Wii Console, controller, 2 games and more!
We have been holding out leaving the land of Leapster but I couldn’t pass up this deal! Did anyone else try this online or in store?
Update: This is what we found on the Kmart REVIEWS site. Good idea for a way to spend your extra $50!
“The RED WII limited edition bundle is a great deal because it comes with 2 games and if you buy it during the promotion week you can earn enough reward points to get a EXTRA controller ALMOST FREE. You may pay just a couple of dollars for tax but where else are you going to get a brand new motion plus controller for less than $5?!! We purchased this as a Christmas item and are very excited to use it. If you can jump on this deal it is definitely worth your money. The extra controller and the Super Mario game alone are worth another $100!! So snag this deal if you can and save some money!!”
