I know many (my husband included) find it to be a rude habit, but I am a connoisseur of gum! There are so many great advantages to chewing it! I used to eat tons of gum. I felt naked without it. Kind of! Now it's more casual, but I always have a pack of something minty in my purse. I like it for when I'm going somewhere I have to talk with others. Reassures me that my breath os ok. I feel like a lot of fruity flavors of many brands get hard fast and the flavor is gone in minutes. So I shy away from fruity usually, but am tempted sometimes.
