Mega Swag Bucks Friday & New Buck Earning Games!

Today is Friday which means it is Mega Swag Bucks Day! That means Swag Bucks is giving away upwards of 400,000 Swag Bucks today - and you can earn anywhere from 30-1000 for one search.  So get searching!

What are Swag Bucks, exactly? They are electronic bucks that you earn for searching the web - something that most of us do every day right? You can then redeem these for items such as Amazon gift cards, Starbucks gift cards, Southwest Airlines credits plus more. Further increase your chances of earning bucks by referring friends, using the Swag Bucks toolbar, following the Swag Bucks Twitter stream, watching videos on Swag Bucks TV, reading the Swag Bucks Facebookpage and blog

Let us know if you win any big bills!

The newest way to earn Swagbucks is by playing Free Games.  These  Flash Games are a great way to chill out and earn Swag.   I played Rock n' Ball.  Note, you will not get bucks everytime you play.  Like Swag TV, you will only earn bucks randomly.  What do you think of this new aspect of Swag Bucks?

Let us know if you found any other great deals at Marc's!

Don't Pay for Your Starbucks!

My husband (the coffee connoisseur of the house) once again was amazed when I received 2 Free Starbucks gift cards in the mail yesterday. The first was a $5 card from the AOL's Project Phoenix (no longer available). I was surprised myself that one came. The second was a $10 card from using Pampers Gifts to Grow points. I just checked and it is sold out again on GtoG. But check the GtoG rewards often as the Starbucks card sells out quickly (these usually are around 1,100 points).

Another place where we earn free Starbucks cards is through MyPoints. You can redeem 1,550 points for a $10 Starbucks card. How do you earn points? Easy, "read" e-mail from MyPoints (5 points ea), earn points per dollar for online shopping, print manufactures coupons (10 points per redeemed MQ) and use their search engine. It is super easy and we highly recommend this program!

I am also eagerly waiting for my $5 Starbucks cards from the FamilyFinds deal last week. Have you received any Free Starbucks cards lately? Let us know!

PS-When those Gift Cards come in the mail, don't forget to register your cards. You will receive a free drink on your birthday as well as earn points toward great offers.

My Target Deals Today!

I found a few goodies at Target today!  I went there specifically for the Splenda deal (BOGO Q in SS 1/9/11) which meant (2) 100 pack Splendas for $3.99.  I went through the 75% off clothing racks in the girls' section and found a super soft hoodie for $1.75 and a pair of pajama pants for $1.98!  I used a $5 gift card from a previous Target deal (buy 3 Starbucks coffee packs and get a $5 gift card) so I paid just under $8, I mean just under $3 out of pocket for everything in the picture above.  My daughter was THRILLED with her new clothes and I love the price!

While you're in Target this week, check the toys aisles (currently at 30% off and moving to 50% any day!) and the clothing racks.  There are great deals to be had!  Please tell us what you find!

4YOUR2Cents!!!! CVS VICTORY!

One of our favorite features of 4Our2Cents is posting the victories of the readers and friends of 4Our2Cents!  Here's Erin's Victory at CVS this week!  Note to Readers:  Erin is a resident of Florida and her stores may do things a little differently but most sales are national when it comes to the major drugstores!

Paying $1 for over $41 worth of household products at CVS

The beginning of the quarter of the year is a happy day in my house. Why? It's payout time for the ExtraBucks you've earned over the past quarter. Just visit the coupon machine in CVS, scan your ExtraBucks card, and voila, 'free' money!

I got $7.50 in ExtraBucks for the last quarter of 2010, and here's how I used them to get $41.44 worth of stuff for $1.00 out of pocket. (You still have to pay sales tax in cash in FL). Don't have $7.50 in ExtraBucks laying around? No problem. This deal can still be a money-maker.

Here's what the CVS ad offers: $10 ExtraBucks when you buy $20 Lysol, Finish, Airwick LIMIT 1

**Deal Idea** - courtesy of SouthernSavers.com ( http://www.southernsavers.com/2011/01/cvs-weekly-ad-scenarios-19-115/)

Buy:
(4) Finish Detergents $3
(1) Air Wick FreshMatic Kit $5 (SouthernSavers.com quoted $6 price on this, but it rang up as $5 at my CVS.
(1) Lysol Neutra Air Spray $3

Use:
(4) -$2.25 off Finish 20 ct +, SS 1/02 (SmartSource newspaper insert from January 2^nd)

$1 off Lysol Neutra Air Aerosol Sanitizing spray printable
$4 off Air Wick Freshmatic Ultra starter kit, SS 1/02 (SmartSource newspaper insert from January 2^nd) or printable or printable

Total Due: $6 (adjusted for the prices at my store; it'll be more if the AirWick Freshmatic Kit is pricier at your CVS)
Get Back: $10 ExtraBucks, you make $4 profit!!

For this transaction, I also did the following deal to use up the full amount of the $7.50 ExtraBucks coupon. (For those new to CVS couponing, the value of each ExtraBuck 'coupon' has to be used at one time. It's best to spend a teeny bit over the amount of the ExtraBuck so you're not wasting its value)

$1.59 ExtraBucks when you buy Reese’s Minis/Hershey’s Drops $1.59 LIMIT 1 (makes it FREE)

So, with $14 in coupons, $7.50 in ExtraBucks, and $18.94 in sale price savings, I paid $1 out of pocket for all the stuff in the photo. (I took the AirWick starter kit out of its package so I could use it right away.)

AND, I walked out with two ExtraBucks coupons, one for $10 and one for $1.59.

Even if you do just the Airwick/Finish/Lysol deal without starting off with ExtraBucks, you pay $6 out of pocket and walk out with $10 in ExtraBucks. That's a cool $4 you could use to buy something else you need, or use it to do another CVS deal.

Happy savings,

Erin

Also, rumor has it that some stores have Goldfish Cocoa Adventures on holiday clearance for up to 90% off.  Hip2Save reports they were 21 cents! for her. They probably will be in with the regular Goldfish and not marked, so price check it first.
